Tariff Definitions
For the purposes of trading electricity the National Electricity Market (NEM) defines peak hours from 7:00am to 10:00pm from Monday to Friday, with off-peak bhours at all other times. Unfortunately this definition has not been picked up by the network providers who by default often set the tariff definitions that are used by various retailers.
The following table lists the most commonly accepted definitions.
