Tariff Definitions

For the purposes of trading electricity the National Electricity Market (NEM) defines Peak period as 7:00am to 10:00pm from Monday to Friday, with Off-Peak being all other times. Unfortunately this definition has not been picked up by the network providers who by default, often set the tariff definitions that are used by various retailers. The following table gives a list of the most commonly accepted definitions.
